DevOps Software Engineer

About this Position

Connectify is looking for a software engineer who wants to be on the front line of building out Speedify, our global Software-as-a-Service. Speedify's infrastructure is powered by Docker and Node.js, with servers in 35 cities spread across 23 countries, and if you want to help us grow our network while maintaining high resiliency, we want to hear from you! This position is located in our sunny office space in Center City, Philadelphia.

As a DevOps Software Engineer at Connectify you will:

  • Automate all the things! Write software to provision new servers, deploy updates and monitor system health and performance
  • Improve and extend our Node.js server applications
  • Help develop new server applications
  • Help maintain our development, CI and production environments

Requirements

  • Familiarity with DevOps approaches and practices
  • Experience deploying cloud servers (AWS, Digital Ocean, Linode, RackSpace, etc.)
  • Experience developing with JavaScript, Node.js and Python

Pluses

  • Experience with Docker, GitHub and Jenkins CI
  • Experience with Linux system administration
  • JavaScript profiling and debugging

Inside Sales Engineer

About this Position

Connectify creates innovative networking software products. Our Speedify software is a new kind of VPN that combines multiple internet connections on Windows, macOS, iOS, Android and Linux. It is being licensed by large enterprises and white-labeled by major carriers.

Connectify is currently hiring a technically-minded full-time Inside Sales Engineer to help grow enterprise and carrier clients for Speedify. This position is located in our sunny office space in Center City, Philadelphia.

As Connectify’s Inside Sales Engineer, you will:

  • Develop an in-depth understanding of how our software works and how it can meet the needs of potential enterprise/carrier clients.
  • Convert leads into new clients through email, phone, and in-person outreach.
  • Identify and develop our target markets by creating new use cases for the Speedify software.
  • Manage and strengthen existing client relationships by providing technical support.
  • Guide new clients through the planning and onboarding processes.

Requirements

  • 3-4 years of technical sales experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with--and interest in-networking technology
  • Enthusiastic and outgoing personality.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites.
