Get on the Internet anywhere with your Wi-Fi only iPad

So, you got that shiny new iPad but opted not to sign up for 3G or 4G service to get your device online on-the-go. We can’t blame you! Who wants to be locked into another Internet service contract for two whole years? Maybe you’ve already got an 4G / LTE broadband stick to stay connected while you’re traveling, but because the iPad doesn’t support USB, there’s no way to tether it. Perhaps you’re stuck with a wired ethernet connection, but have no way to connect your iPad to it. Until now…

With Connectify Hotspot installed on your PC laptop, you can easily share Internet from any source, so that iPads and all of your other mobile devices can get online.

Keep reading to see how to get started in 2 minutes or less.

Get online with your Wi-Fi-only iPad using Connectify Hotspot

Step 1: Get Connectify Hotspot PRO from the Connectify website. Note: While there is a free trial version of Connectify Hotspot, sharing 3G/4G connections via Wi-Fi is a PRO-only feature.

Step 2: Make sure your 3G or 4G device (or ethernet adapter) is selected from the ‘Internet to Share’ dropdown. Icons next to each adapter tell you what kind of Internet connection you’re selecting. If you switch connections often, you might just want to select Automatic and Connectify Hotspot will automatically share the active Internet connection.

Step 3: Give your hotspot a name (SSID) and password. The hotspot name is the network name that other devices will see and connect to using your unique password - feel free to use emojis and Unicode characters to set it apart. Your Connectify Hotspot is a real, working hotspot that you use just like any other wireless network.
Be sure you leave the 'Ad blocker' option selected, as you will save a lot of bandwidth and battery life for your connected iPad via our universal ad blocker.

Step 4: Click the ‘Start Hotspot’ button to begin sharing your 3G or 4G LTE or Ethernet Internet connection with your iPad and other Wi-Fi-enabled devices.
