I just bought the paid version – Windows 7, 64 Bit.

When I first downloaded the free version, it worked fine. Now on the free & paid versions, I get a persistent message when trying to start Connectify that Says “Windows Hostednetwork is currently not available. Wait a moment and try again or reboot and try again.”

I’ve disabled all extraneous adapters, rebooted, etc. Started & stopped hostednetwork on command line – nothing helps.

    What do I do?

    John,

Thanks so much for reaching out. I’m terribly sorry you’re having trouble with Connectify. Have you tried filling out a Support Ticket in the Connectify Support Center? Since you’re a PRO user, your Support Ticket will be immediately resolved by our Connectify Support Staff during normal business hours (M-F 9A-5P). They will be able to best resolve your problem, and get you back online as soon as possible.

Please let me know if you don’t get a response by next week. Again, I apologize for your difficulties. Enjoy your weekend!

    Good day,

before I buy a “Pro” I have to check the light version. I am very sorry to say, conectify light does not work at all on my computer.

Even I have a problem to remove this app from my desk screen. And so and so. Show me a way of a good running programm, then there is no objection to buy the fully version.

    Regards – GR Peer

    Hi GR Peer,

Thanks for your message. I’m also sorry that Connectify LITE does not work with your computer. To remove the app from your desk screen, you simply go to the Connectify Menu and click Hide. Connectify PRO offers more features than Connectify LITE, but I’m worried you might have the same problems if you don’t solve them before purchasing PRO. To solve the problems first, please fill out a Support Ticket by going to (Connectify Menu->Help->Support Center (Get Help, Solve Problems)! That way, we’ll be able to solve the problems first & save you some money in case your computer is not compatible with Connectify!

    Best wishes,

Hello, I asked for help before and had success with installing my connectify pro program. Now I have another question because when I try to connect my smartphone or game console to wifi they simply do not detect or do not even connect when it is picked up it says out of range. Well it might have been something I did I don’t know the hotspot was full bars for the first day but then started to decline, I would appreciate your help again greatly thanks for your time.

    Hello,

I downloaded Connectify Lite today. I am using a Windows XP laptop which is wired to a local area connection (broadband internet service) – Intel(R) 82567LM Gigabit Network Connection and it has a Wifi – Intel(R) Wifi Link 5100 AGN – Teefer2 Miniport.

I have another laptop which is a Windows 7 one. When I try to Start the Hotspot using Connectify on my first laptop which is wired to a LAN, I get an error “Cannot create an ad hoc network”. I am using the following options:

    Internet – Intel(R) 82567LM Gigabit Network Connection

    Share over – Intel(R) Wifi Link 5100 AGN – Teefer2 Miniport.

Kindly help me solve my issue.

    Thanks!
