Turn your iPad into a second monitor with Connectify + iDisplay!

So you’ve heard about Connectify, the software that can turn your laptop into a Wi-Fi hotspot. But have you heard of iDisplay? It’s a great app that can help turn your iPad into a second monitor for your computer, as mentioned by Paul Mah on CIO.com and explained by Connectify CEO, Alex Gizis, in the video below.

After you download Connectify on your computer and iDisplay on your iPad, it only takes seconds to start a hotspot and get iDisplay up and running. Simply join the hotspot from your computer on your iPad under your Settings/Network tab, open iDisplay on your iPad, and voila! Your iPad is now a second display of your computer. You can pull up a web browser, and it will show up directly on your “second screen.”

Because of speed improvements on both Connectify and iDisplay, your external monitor will be able to stream video in real time. Simply drag a video from your computer to your second display, and the video will keep playing — no pauses or skips.
